Tiny Boxes of Binary Society
In the binary society, in which we all have been concise into a tiny boxes where the walls of this boxes have been crafted with some fixed well-designed ideologies, rules, policies, regulations and beliefs. So, anyone who does not fit in this man-made cubical box are either discarded or ultimately manipulated to get them adjusted with system set by the binary society across the world. And I suppose that this frame or system have been so much engraved within each one of us that we all have forgotten to ask ourselves a question…“who am I?”
We as highly advanced scientific and modernised people often leave this question on our XY chromosome to decide. However, we never ask as what is so special about this X&Y chromosome that make us man or women? Nor do we ask if it’s enough to qualify us as what we declare ourselves to be. Each human being on this planet is bisexual since from the day we were inside the mother’s womb where we all had gonad that was neither pines nor vagina. This particular gonad had the capability to form each one of us.
Well, this is about our genitals but we must realise that sex is not about tubes and boos, sex is not about penis or vagina. So, the bigger question is what is sex then? We all live in an era where sex, gender, sexual orientation are controversial religious and political issues. And ironically there are some nations who have formulated rules against homosexuality while there are some nations who have laws to protect same-sex marriage. And by chance if there is any negotiation between religion and political group, it often makes me wonder as… “What is normal?” and “Who decides?”
According to the findings found through the series of interviews conducted among several individuals based on Kensley scale regarding their sexual histories. It came into highlight that action and desire of people does not stay consistent over time. And almost 90% of the individuals who identify themselves as heterosexual or homosexual were actually found to be somewhere between, when asked regarding their behaviour and thoughts.
The society in which we all are living believe in the fact that sex of a person lies between their legs and ensure that each one of them make themselves fit into the tiny boxes created by so called highly qualified binary societies. This highly manipulated society strongly believes in two myths. Firstly, they believe on the fact that gender is binary and secondly they also claim that sex of person and gender is both same things. Do you think it’s possible to squeeze the diverse choices of people into those tiny boxes? If not than its time to ask ourselves… “WHO AM I?”
